Lutz announces 2020 senior promotions
Lutz, a Nebraska-based business solutions firm, recently announced the promotion of 12 professionals to Senior level positions.
Katie Blycker, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the Client Accounting Services department. She specializes in providing outsourced accounting services to clients with a focus on QuickBooks, tax and payroll compliance, small business and healthcare consulting, as well as software implementation and training. Blycker works in Lutz’s Omaha office.
Tom Docter, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for the preparation of individual, business and fiduciary income tax returns for clients in a variety of industries.
Jill Gathje, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department. She provides tax consulting and compliance services for clients with a focus on individual and business income tax. Gathje specializes in state and local tax credits and incentives (SALT) and works in Lutz’s Omaha office.
Hannah Goscha, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department in Lutz’s Omaha office. She is responsible for the preparation of individual, business and fiduciary income tax returns for clients in a variety of industries.
Reid Hammitt, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, he works to maintain a high level of objectivity and confidentiality in all areas for clients in a variety of industries.
Josh Hinrichs has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He works to provide credibility, objectivity and confidentiality to clients through efficient and effective financial reporting in a variety of industries. Hinrichs works in Lutz’s Hastings office.
Sam Kuhter, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in Lutz’s Grand Island office. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting and preparing individual and business income tax returns. In addition, he delivers outsourced accounting assistance to clients in a variety of industries.
Demi Rodocker, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She is responsible for performing audits, reviews and compilations for clients with a focus on the retail, nonprofit, governmental and employee benefit plan industries. In addition, she assists with individual and business income tax return preparation and bookkeeping. Rodocker works in Lutz’s Grand Island office.
Obadiah Sawyer has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department. He is responsible for the preparation and examination of financial records for clients across various industries. Sawyer works in Lutz’s Omaha office.
Jen Schardt has been promoted to Senior Accountant in Lutz’s Hastings office. She is responsible for preparing individual and business income tax returns. Schardt also provides credibility to clients through financial reporting.
Mike Siwa, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He works to provide credibility and confidentiality to clients in a variety of industries by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information to ensure compliance.
Sheana Smith has been promoted to Human Resources Senior. Smith works out of Lutz’s Hastings and Grand Island offices. She is responsible for leading Lutz’s internship program and campus recruiting efforts in Central Nebraska. In addition, she oversees the onboarding, employee retention and performance management processes.
