Accounting Internships + Get more than a line on your résumé

There’s no better way to learn about accounting in the real world than to actually give it a try. Lutz is the perfect place to get a flavor for the industry, explore your interests and stretch yourself. You’ll be doing real work, with real professionals and real results. Plus, we like to whistle while we work so come join the fun!

Our accounting internship opportunities are open to current students and recent college graduates. During your time at Lutz, you will be trained on our tax and audit approach as well as accounting software to help you put the information you’ve been hearing about in class into practice. Our main campus recruiting season for summer internships and full-time staff accountant positions kicks off after Labor Day. We are actively searching for winter interns year-round.

Summer | June - August

Not sure which focus is right for you? Find your fit with our summer accounting internship program. Summer interns will have the opportunity to explore a variety of our professional service areas including audit, tax, client accounting services and more.

Winter | January - April

If you like to dive in deep, then consider our winter tax or audit internships where you will become familiar with how a public accounting firm operates during the thick of busy season. (We are seeking students with the availability to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week.)

Each of these accounting internship opportunities will give you an inside look at our culture, allow you to apply principles you’ve learned about in class, talk to people who know the ins-and-outs of this industry, and get first-hand experience with everything from software to completing real client work.
