Lutz Named Employer of the Year by UNL College of Business

Lutz, a Nebraska-based business solutions firm, has been named Employer of the Year by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Business. This award recognizes Lutz's exceptional commitment to student career development through job and internship recruitment programs, career events, and on-campus involvement.

"Lutz excelled in areas such as job and internship recruitment of our business students, participation in career events, involvement in the Professional Enhancement Program courses, and more," said Bethany Meyers, career coach of the Business Career Center. "They've made a significant impact on business students' academic and professional journeys, and we deeply appreciate their collaboration."

With over 100 UNL alumni employed across all departments, Lutz maintains a strong connection with the University. The firm provided internships for 31 UNL students in 2023 and 27 so far in 2024. In addition, this year, Lutz has hired nine UNL graduates for full-time roles, further demonstrating its commitment to fostering local talent.

The Employer of the Year award highlights organizations that have gone above and beyond in their collaboration with the Business Career Center, providing direct opportunities for students to build relationships and recruiting College of Business students for jobs and internships.
