When you hear the term “human resources” or HR, what comes to mind? For many, it’s the department that handles hiring, assisting with payroll, and employee relations. But HR is so much more than just the administrative backbone of a company; it’s a strategic partner that plays a vital role in driving organizational success.

At its core, human resources is the department responsible for managing the employee life cycle, which includes everything from recruiting and hiring to training, performance management, and offboarding.
