Lutz M&A advises CCW, LLC on its Recent Buyout

Lutz M&A announced that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to CCW, LLC (CCW), the largest franchisee of HuHot Mongolian Grill restaurants, in connection with its recent sale to an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (Sun Capital). The transaction closed on Jan. 28, 2016.
Founded in 2001 and based in Omaha, Neb., CCW owns and operates 21 HuHot restaurants across the Midwest, including locations in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and South Dakota. HuHot Mongolian Grill is a fast-growing restaurant concept that features create-your-own Asian stir-fry dishes. With a simple pricing structure, a unique and customizable menu, and a rapid service model, the HuHot brand continues to grow and expand.
Gayle Carstens, founder and majority owner of CCW, stated, “We are extremely excited about our sale transaction. With their long track record of success in the restaurant industry, Sun Capital brings unparalleled experience, skill and perspective that will prove invaluable going forward. The CCW management team is genuinely eager to both grow HuHot and add additional brands to their mix.”
