Operations Director
Brad Newton, Operations Director, began his career in 2014. With a unique combination of tax and technology expertise, he has progressed through multiple roles at Lutz. His dual background in accounting and software development provides him with a distinctive perspective on how technology can enhance the firm's financial and operational systems.
 
Specializing in software development and workflow optimization, Brad leads the vision and implementation for Lutz's proprietary applications, Locator and ThreadWorks. He collaborates with development teams to design features that streamline the firm's daily processes. His work focuses on improving efficiency, strengthening internal systems, and supporting the evolving needs of teams across the firm.
 
At Lutz, Brad is known for bringing together technical expertise and practical business insight. He approaches challenges with a thoughtful mindset, taking time to understand both the immediate need and the broader impact of a solution. His ability to connect strategy with execution has helped drive improvements while keeping people at the center of the process.
 
Brad lives in Omaha, NE, with his wife, Grace, and their two dogs, Teddy and Russell. Outside the office, you can find him preparing meals for friends and family, running, golfing, and traveling.
