Kris Rutz

Kris Rutz, Network Operations Center Manager, began his career in 2014. With over a decade of experience and a background rooted in live event technology, he brings a unique blend of technical creativity and operational precision to Lutz Tech. Since stepping into his leadership role, Kris has helped strengthen the division’s proactive monitoring, cybersecurity, and client onboarding processes. 

Leading the Network Operations Center team, Kris oversees critical systems that support infrastructure stability, security patching, and business continuity. He works closely with engineers to manage client transitions, minimize downtime, and maintain the applications Lutz Tech relies on to serve a wide range of industries. Kris values the daily challenges of keeping complex IT environments running smoothly and takes pride in optimizing processes to improve both performance and security. 

Kris lives in Omaha, NE, with his wife Danielle and their son, Bennett. Outside the office, you can find him cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and working on DIY projects around his house.
