Matt Storm

Matt Storm, Controller, began his career in 2007 as a tax intern at Lutz. Since then, he has grown into a financial leadership role, gaining a deep understanding of the firm’s internal operations and playing a key part in shaping its financial strategy. 

Overseeing internal accounting functions, Matt focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. He’s known for bringing clarity to complex financial data and translating it into actionable insights that support firmwide decision-making. Matt values the balance of strategy and structure his role provides, and he enjoys the constant learning that comes with it. Staying ahead of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends keeps him sharp and engaged in work that’s both challenging and rewarding. 

Matt lives in Omaha, NE, with his wife Julia and their three children, Graham, Colette, and Marin. Outside the office, you can find him golfing with his family, watching his daughters compete in volleyball and golf, or playing video games with his son.
