Steven Placke

Steve Placke, Tax Shareholder, began his career in 1985 with Shonsey and Associates. After becoming a partner in 1995, he joined Lutz through the firm’s acquisition in 2018, bringing decades of experience serving central Nebraska clients. 

Drawing from his diverse background in tax, audit, and healthcare compliance, Steve serves clients across the agribusiness, healthcare, nonprofit, and retail industries. He provides comprehensive solutions, including tax planning, audit services, and long-term care consulting. Steve particularly values building lasting client relationships and delivering meaningful results that help businesses thrive.

Steve lives in Grand Island, NE, with his wife Sharon. Outside the office, he enjoys outdoor activities and stays connected to his agricultural roots through his involvement in the livestock industry.
