Shonsey & Associates Joins Lutz

Lutz, a Nebraska-based business solutions firm with offices in Omaha, Lincoln, Hastings and Grand Island, is excited to announce they will acquire Shonsey, Placke, Maruska & Stava, P.C. (d/b/a Shonsey & Associates), a leading accounting firm in Central Nebraska, located in Grand Island. The transaction is expected to be effective May 1, 2018. “Lutz’s expansion reflects our commitment to build and strengthen our presence in the Grand Island community as well as Central Nebraska. We have a common mission of delivering high level business solutions to invigorate success for our clients. The four current Shonsey & Associates shareholders will join Lutz as shareholders. In addition, over 20 Shonsey & Associates personnel will join the Lutz team bringing the total number of Nebraska employees to more than 280. Lutz has been fortunate to assemble an outstanding team of individuals and we look forward to the addition of the talented Shonsey & Associates team members,” said Mark Duren, Managing Shareholder of Lutz. Lutz will provide Shonsey & Associate clients a deeper breadth of service offerings including:
