Lutz Announces 2022 Associate through Manager Promotions

Lutz, a Nebraska-based business solutions firm, recently announced multiple promotions to manager, senior, and associate roles.

Manager

Jack Boulay, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Manager. He is responsible for providing credibility and assurance to clients through financial reporting with a focus on the agriculture industry. Jack works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Tom Docter, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for providing individual and business income tax consulting and compliance services for clients in the construction, real estate and agriculture industries.

Jordan Fisher, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Manager. He is responsible for providing assurance services to clients in the government, nonprofit, public housing, and low-income housing industries. Jordan works remotely.

Hannah Goscha, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager. She is responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients with a focus on partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, trusts and estates. Hannah works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Reid Hammitt, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Manager. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, he will work to maintain a high level of objectivity in all areas for clients in a variety of industries. Reid works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Bryson Henkel, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager in Lutz’s Hastings office. He provides tax planning, consulting and compliance services to businesses and individuals with a focus on the agriculture industry. In addition, he assists accounting staff with training.

Nate Jones, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Manager in Lutz’s Omaha office. He provides assurance services to clients with a focus on the nonprofit and staffing industries. In addition, he provides training for new audit staff, interns and the international workforce.

Sam Kuhter, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Manager in Lutz’s Grand Island office. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, he provides general accounting consulting to businesses and individuals in a variety of industries.

Nate Michl has been promoted to Solutions Architect in the Tech division. He is responsible for designing technical solutions for clients. In addition, he provides strategic leadership to the project team, performance analyses and recommendations for process improvements. Nate works in Lutz’s Lincoln office.

Lindsey O’Brien has been promoted to Project Team Manager in the Tech division. She is responsible for developing and managing technology projects for clients including handling cost, time, and scope constraints. In addition, she creates and maintains project plans to communicate tasks, status, and resource allocation. Lindsey works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Emily Olsen, CPA, has been promoted to Client Accounting Services Manager. She specializes in small business consulting including payroll tax reporting and compliance. In addition, she provides outsourced accounting assistance with software installation, training and support. Emily works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Jen Schardt, CPA, has been promoted to Tax Manager. She is responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to businesses and individuals with a focus on the agriculture industry. Jen works in Lutz’s Hastings office.

Rob Scott has been promoted to Training Manager in the Tech division. He is responsible for designing and implementing training programs for internal IT staff, onboarding new employees, and serving as a mentor for first-year technicians and interns. Rob works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Jen Walde has been promoted to Coaching and Development Manager in Lutz’s Omaha office. She is responsible for providing career support and coaching to Lutz’s employees. In addition, she will collaborate with various areas of the Firm to develop and implement initiatives related to employee retention and development.

Senior

Stephanie Bailey has been promoted to Senior Client Service Associate in the Financial division. She specializes in client relations and account and process management. In addition, she serves as a liaison between custodians and clients to ensure a seamless client relationship experience. Stephanie works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Joe Carlson has been promoted to Senior Financial Planner in the Financial division. He specializes in collaborating with advisers to provide detailed financial planning solutions and wealth management services for high net-worth individuals, families and businesses. In addition, he helps monitor client portfolios and implements trade requests. He works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Joe Dahir, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department. He provides auditing and consulting services to clients with a focus on the 401k, manufacturing, construction and nonprofit industries. Joe works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Matthew Gilg, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for performing audits, reviews, and compilations for clients including employee benefit plan and SID audits.

Claire Hasty has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department. She is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, she assists the M&A division with transaction advisory services. Claire works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Drew Hoffmann, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for providing credibility and assurance to clients through efficient and effective financial reporting. In addition, he provides training and support for audit staff and interns.

Anna Howorth, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the healthcare department. She is responsible for preparing cost reports, delivering accurate financial statements, and providing healthcare consulting services to clients with a focus on Critical Access Hospitals (CAH). She works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Alec Lake has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the audit department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting with a focus on the agriculture, construction and healthcare industries.

Pam Mathison has been promoted to Senior Client Service Associate in the Financial division. She specializes in coordinating training, as well as, creating and implementing new processes. She works closely with Lutz Financial’s software platforms to create a seamless client relationship experience. Pam works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Chase Morley has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He provides tax planning and compliance services for clients with a focus on preparing individual and business income tax returns.

Tommy Pritchard has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department. He is responsible for preparing individual and business income tax returns and providing general accounting assistance to clients. Tommy works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Courtney Russell has been promoted to HR Specialist in Lutz’s Firm Management department. She is responsible for coordinating the orientation and onboarding processes for new employees, assisting with the Firm’s recruiting efforts, and plays a key role in Lutz’s internship program. In addition, she assists with communicating and monitoring employee benefits. Courtney works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Dan Strecker, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in Lutz’s Hastings office. He provides assurance services and prepares income tax returns for individuals and businesses in a variety of industries. In addition, he assists in coordinating internal training for Central, NE interns.

Madison Thramer has been promoted to Senior Accountant in Lutz’s Hastings office. She specializes in providing accounting services to clients, including tax, payroll compliance, and small business consulting, with a focus on the agriculture industry.

Jackson VanSkiver has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, he provides trust and estate income tax planning. Jackson works in Lutz’s Hastings office.

Austin Wells, CFP, has been promoted to Retirement Plan Specialist & Investment Adviser in the Financial division. He provides retirement plan consulting for business owners, individuals, and families. In addition, he is responsible for providing investment advisory services, fiduciary guidance and plan design and analyses. Austin works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Brian Wilmes, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the tax department. He is responsible for the preparation of individual and business income tax returns for clients in a variety of industries. In addition, he provides training and support for accounting interns. Brian works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Associate & Tech

Jennifer Kahre has been promoted to Administrative Services Supervisor. She is responsible for overseeing the admin team, hiring and training new staff within the department, and serving as a liaison for firm administration across all departments. Jennifer works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Zac Franklin has been promoted to Service Lead. He works directly with clients to address service issues and special requests. In addition, he assists the Lutz Tech Help Desk team in resolving technical disputes, provides training for new and current employees, and helps build and improve processes. Zac works remotely.

Riley Knight has been promoted to Project Coordinator. He is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of IT projects and coordinating internal trainings. In addition, he provides reporting and administrative duties as needed. He works in Lutz’s Omaha office.

Evan Laux has been promoted to Escalation Engineer in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for troubleshooting computer and server issues, configuring, installing, and maintaining hardware and software, providing assistance to the Lutz Tech Help Desk team, and responding to technical inquiries from clients.
