Lutz adds 17 Staff Accountants

Lutz, a Nebraska-based business solutions firm, recently added 17 staff accountants to its Omaha, Grand Island, and Lincoln offices.

Haley Claussen joins the audit department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. She is responsible for ensuring reliable and objective financial reporting across various industries. Claussen previously interned with Lutz during summer 2022, tax season 2023, and fall 2023. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a master’s degree in accounting.

Trevor DeBoer joins the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for delivering accurate financial reports and upholding high standards of objectivity and confidentiality. DeBoer previously interned with Lutz during tax seasons 2023 and 2024. Graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Spencer Duntz joins the healthcare department in Lutz’s Lincoln Office. His primary responsibility is to work with clients, compiling detailed monthly financial statements and cost reports while also offering general accounting and consulting support. Duntz previously interned with Lutz during 2023 and tax season 2024. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a master’s degree in accounting.

Carter Franklin joins the tax department in Lutz’s Grand Island office. He is responsible for handling individual and business tax returns, along with general accounting support for clients across different sectors. Franklin previously interned with Lutz during tax seasons 2022 and 2023. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Luke Gilbert joins the state and local tax department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for assisting clients with tax-related issues, from pursuing tax incentives to managing state tax audits. In addition, he will prepare various tax returns for individuals and businesses. Luke graduated from Creighton University with a master’s degree in accounting.

Jackson Hirschfeld joins the tax department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for the preparation of individual, business, nonprofit, and fiduciary income tax returns for clients in a variety of industries. Hirschfeld previously interned with Lutz during tax season 2024. Graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he received his master’s degree in accounting.

Jake Kudron joins the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. His role involves enhancing client trust through reliable financial reporting while consistently upholding objectivity and confidentiality for clients in a variety of industries. Kudron previously interned with Lutz during tax season 2023. Graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he received his master’s degree in accounting.

Chris Leute joins the tax department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He provides tax consulting and compliance services for clients with a focus on individual and business income tax. Leute previously interned with Lutz during tax season 2023. Graduating from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, he received his master’s degree in business administration and management.

Deston Lindsay joins the audit department in Lutz’s Grand Island office. He is responsible for providing credibility to clients through financial reporting. In addition, he works to maintain a high level of objectivity and confidentiality in all areas for clients in a variety of industries. Lindsay graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Matt Meyers joins the tax department in Lutz’s Lincoln office. He is responsible for preparing individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returns for high-net-worth clients. Meyers previously interned with Lutz during tax seasons 2022, 2023, and 2024. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Emily Miksch joins the audit department in Lutz’s Grand Island office. She is responsible for delivering trustworthy financial reporting and preserving high standards of objectivity and confidentiality. Miksch interned with Lutz in tax season 2022. Emily graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a master’s degree in accounting.

Ally Miller joins the client advisory services department in Lutz’s Grand Island office. She is responsible for offering outsourced accounting solutions and support, including QuickBooks management and payroll compliance. Miller previously interned with Lutz during tax seasons 2021, 2022, and 2023. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Michael Monico joins the healthcare department in Lutz’s Omaha office. He is responsible for providing accounting and consulting services to healthcare organizations with a focus on outsourced accounting services and cost reports. Monico previously interned with Lutz during summer 2022 and tax season 2024. Michael graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a master’s degree in accounting.

Sam Nelson joins the client advisory services department in Lutz's Omaha office. He is responsible for handling outsourced accounting tasks and offering assistance in QuickBooks and payroll compliance. Sam previously interned with Lutz during tax season 2023 and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in professional accountancy.

Brea Stenger joins the audit department in Lutz’s Omaha office. She focuses on providing reliable financial reporting while maintaining the highest levels of objectivity and confidentiality. Brea interned with Lutz in the summer of 2022. Stenger graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a master’s degree in accounting.
